Providing Excellence in Home Health Care
Visiting Homemaker Service, Inc. is a private, non-profit, in home health agency that has served Monongalia County families with reliable and professional home care since 1962. Our professional home health aides provide care to the elderly, ill and disabled. We are available to provide "respite", or substitute care, for those who provide care for elderly or disabled persons at home.
We are a United Way agency funded partner and an active member of the National Association for Home Care, the national licensing agency for home health care programs across the country. We receive contributions from the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services, the Monongalia County Commission, local grant organizations, and private donations and memorials.
Our agency provides non-medical in home health care services to people of all ages who are victims of stroke or heart disease, Alzheimer's patients, diabetic or arthritis sufferers, mentally disabled, acutely or chronically disabled, and the terminally ill.
